An annotated bibliography is:
- like a reference page or works cited page
- list of sources in paper
- includes description of each source
- gives reader enough information to see if they can use the source later
(Cal Poly, 2008).
According to Cal Poly (2008), the annotation should be about 4-6 sentences. The annotated bib is basically a way of putting your sources in one place as well as writing a description about each source. It is very helpful for those who will be reading about your research so they may be able to further continue it.
